Please re-visit this page for updated information on Summer 2024 Intervention Classes.
HwH+ Summer Intervention classes are sold as a package. All classes have a {3:1} student-to-teacher ratio. Students are assessed prior to being placed into a class. In order to meet the needs of students in a small group, we try to make the group as homogeneous as possible. Our classes provide intervention, for all students pre-k through college and beyond.
Summer Hub offers a wide variety of intervention classes such as executive functioning, ENL, Orton-Gillingham, Touch Math, and more. These classes focus on a student's specific ability or area of weakness. Our goal is to strengthen the student's skills and build up his/her confidence to become a stronger all-around student. These classes are perfect for students who struggle and need personalized attention. Give your children the boost they need to succeed in the upcoming school year!
We also offer private instruction and can customize group classes for students with busy schedules who may not be able to attend our regularly scheduled classes. Parent consultation, comprehensive evaluation, ongoing assessment, and feedback throughout instruction are all a part of the Homework Hub's personal touch.
Sessions run for six weeks beginning Monday, July 15th through Thursday, August 22nd. Classes can be prorated upon registration. All classes run based on enrollment (minimum of 2 students).
Registration is available online only.

LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR INTERVENTION CLASSES
In a small group setting, with an experienced teacher guiding them, children will learn how to interact appropriately with others their age, including conversational, friendship, and problem-solving skills.
Executive Functioning (EF) coaching helps students improve real-life, day-to-day processing skills, i.e. proficiency in adaptable thinking, organization, time management, task initiation, self-control, study skills, and self-monitoring. These skills help students to perform well in school, work, and life.
Orton-Gillingham is a multi-sensory, structured literacy program designed to break reading and spelling down into smaller skills involving letters and sounds, and then building on these skills over time. This program is ideal for students with dyslexia or other reading delays.
This class is designed to teach a variety of language skills to non-native English speakers.
A certified Speech and Language Pathologist will help children improve pronunciation, strengthen the muscles used in speech, and learn to speak correctly.
A certified Occupational Therapist will help students with the fine motor skills needed to excel in the classroom and beyond.
TouchMath is a multisensory math program that makes critical math concepts appealing and accessible for students who struggle to understand grade-level content.
