I attended Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY, where I received my bachelor's degree in Mathematics and my master's degree in Adolescent Education. I am certified in both math and special education. I have worked in two different school districts, teaching classes ranging from middle school to high school with students of various abilities and academic backgrounds.

Currently, I am a permanent substitute in the Seaford school district. I am also a retired Division II athlete, having played both soccer and lacrosse at Mercy College. I remain highly involved and interested in sports within my school districts.
