I have taught as an adjunct professor of philosophy at several universities including Southern CT State and Sacred Heart. Much of my experience teaching at the college level has involved helping students become clearer thinkers and better writers. My background in the humanities allows me to provide academic help for any humanities related subject, including English Literature, Philosophy, History, Psychology, and Sociology.

I have worked in the test prep industry for over 15 years. I started tutoring shortly after graduating from Yale and continued tutoring through graduate school and as part of my professional life. My extensive experience allows me to break standardized test questions down into specific question types and provide strategies for each type. I have also worked with students of all skill levels and can adapt my approach based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I tutor students for tests including the SAT, ACT, GRE, SSAT, and ISEE.

Finally, I also provide academic editing and essay writing assistance. I have considerable experience helping students craft their college admissions essays. I also assist with papers written for high-school, college, or graduate level classes.
