My name is Lori Bettenhauser. I am currently retired after 30 years of teaching elementary education on Long Island. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree at Dowling College and my Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies at Stony Brook University.

For most of my career, I taught remediation and enrichment classes for students in grades 1-5. For the past 5 years, I have been co-teaching ENL learners and incorporating differentiated instruction in all areas. I also have experience in teaching STEAM enrichment classes and STEAM summer camp.

I am excited to tutor students and bring my expertise to Homework Hub. I look forward to helping your child be the best he/she can be in a calm, patient, and encouraging atmosphere that they deserve.
