I am certified in English for grades 7-12 and have taught high school and college writing and literature for over 20 years. Since earning my BA at the University of Virginia and my PhD at Stony Brook University, I’ve specialized in counseling students on their college essays, preparing students for the English Regents and standardized verbal sections, and just generally helping students take their writing to the next level. I love to teach and cannot wait to share my love for reading and writing!
