I am certified in English for grades 7–12 and have taught high school and college writing and literature for over 20 years. Since earning my BA from the University of Virginia and my PhD from Stony Brook University, I have specialized in counseling students on their college essays, preparing students for the English Regents and standardized verbal sections, and helping students elevate their writing skills. I love teaching and look forward to sharing my passion for reading and writing with my students.
