I earned my BS in Earth Science and Adolescent Education from SUNY Oneonta, an MA in Liberal Studies from Stony Brook University, and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Mercy College. Currently, I’m pursuing my Ed.D. at Long Island University Post. Most of my teaching career has been in New York City, but now I teach Regents Earth Science and Intro to Science Research at Mepham High School and the Meadowbrook Alternative Program in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District.



During the summer, I work with Texas A&M University’s Geophysics Department, facilitating the G-Camp for Teachers Program. I’m passionate about integrating technology into education and was among the first 1,000 educators to earn certification as an ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Educator. I’m excited to collaborate with other Master Teachers to develop engaging lessons aligned with the New York State Science Learning Standards and to share my enthusiasm for virtual and augmented reality with my peers.
